30 DAY FEEDBACK

“I achieved what I wanted and more! My aim was to shift some lockdown weight before lockdown eased a which I have done, but I am also really pleased the refreshed mindset I have to my diet. I am much more mindful of the make up of my meals (protein vs carbs vs fats etc) so find I am better at planning my food shops and getting a better balance across each day”.

“Really enjoyed the last 30 days, I like having something to aim for, and the support in the WhatsApp group has been great. Learnt a lot about nutrition and will certainly carry that on and change habits rather than this just being a temporary mindset change”.

“Lost some stubborn belly fat and achieved a flat stomach for the first time ever. This will spur me on to maintain the exercise, but to step up the weights etc”.

“The last 30 days have really been what I needed, something to focus on and get me back on track. Luckily I didn't really gain anything through lockdown which is a blessing in itself but I was just floating by not really tracking or making a proper conscious effort. Having something to aim towards has really helped and made me more excited to get back the gym. Got at least 10,000 steps in everyday apart from 4, not gonna lie home workouts are not my thing but I tried my best and did more than I would of if I hadn't of signed up. The group was amazing, everyone was so lovely and helpful! Great way to stay motivated and get ideas off everyone. Seeing the scales go down and FINALLY reach that 5 stone mark has been amazing but I've noticed so many other things too like my resting heart rate is down to 48bpm and I've noticed I'm doing around 1000 more steps an hour in work plus clothes are fitting better and I just generally feel better in myself. I even managed to have a few nights having drinks and takeaways, the joy of counting calories nothing is off limits if its properly tracked. So glad I decided to sign up!”.

“Lost 5.4lb, hitting protein consistently and sleeping much better. The main thing for me has been finding a routine again after feeling pretty lost at the start of the year. Sorting out the sleep meant that I was able to get up earlier (rather than just rolling out of bed and straight to the desk for work!!) and doing a class or a run in the morning meant I felt more energetic when I started the day and probably tired me out enough to sleep later on too!”

“Yayy so happy I made it to the end! That is a first with challenges I often lose interest to be honest or give up! I am pretty happy with how the last 30 days has gone. The biggest challenge was food, I find it easy to be good during the week but weekends I often found harder but the good thing about the challenge was if I did have a day of eating more then I would just get back on it the next day rather then previously I would just give up. The biggest change for me was getting my steps in I got at least 10k a day which is something I have never managed to do on a working day so that is a habit that I will stick to which I'm so happy about”.
“I won't lie, there were some difficult days but the overall experience far outweighs those difficult days. I wasn't sure I would find my motivation ever again but you have fully reinstated it and I feel AMAZING! Everybody is commenting on how happier I seem and how healthy I look and that's great, but it's how I feel on the inside that is really making me shine. I've had so much fun on Michelle's classes, I've really loved the banter in the Whatsapp group and chatting with the girls on the live sessions - all an absolute life saver at a time when I was feeling so alone”

“WOW what can I say, I wasn’t sure what to expect as I was finding this lockdown more difficult than the previous two not sure if it was the weather, time of year or just being menopausal but I felt I needed a push so just decided to go for it and I’m so glad I did!!!!!!! I have got into a routine of tracking my calories, completing my steps and trying to get in at least two workouts a week, I know you said try and do three but I find it difficult not being in the gym even though I have some equipment. I will definitely be continuing this as I still have a long way to go”

“I can feel myself being fitter and in these last workouts in the past week or two I can feel I am getting stronger and I can see the results in my performance on the workouts. Also I have managed to lose almost 3Kg during the 30 day period! I can feel the clothes feeling more loose and even the workout clothes are becoming big for me, so I definitely need a new wardrobe! I haven't even tried the clothes from last summer but I am predicting a lot of them won't fit now as they will be too big! Wooohooo! I can also feel that having the workout and the healthy food have improved my mental health massively, I have had a very stressful month during March and this challenge has keeped me motivated and on track!💪”

“With increasing water (and with that, decreasing caffeine) and increasing protein, I feel so much better. I am eating more high protein ‘whole foods’, stopping my high sugar ‘lockdown-snacking’. The water has helped my skin somewhat too. I’ll keep up the steps thing too, it’s been so easy to motivate myself to walk vs a run. I have to run in the mornings, otherwise by mind says “nope” .... whereas I am less likely to turn down a walk in the evenings”

“Changing my mindset ready for the gyms opening. My body feels like it is ready to move, I don’t feel like I am dragging my “heavy lockdown ass” to the gym! I felt great doing the outdoor circuits last week at Crew, bouncy again!”
